This course is designed for everyone who wants to enter the beauty industry, or for those already working in it who want to expand their services.

You don't need any prior knowledge or experience with the treatment, the business, or marketing to enrol on this course.

Sugar paste is a 100% natural hair-removal product made from:

• water
• sugar
• citric acid

It does not contain: colophony, resins, paraffin oil, dyes, fragrances or preservatives.

This makes it very gentle on the skin, and it is used for hair removal on all parts of the body, for both women and men.

Unlike wax, which stays on the surface of the skin when applied because its paraffin oils prevent it from “penetrating” further, sugar paste works quite differently:

• because of its composition, it runs down the hair and wraps fully around it, right down to the root
• citric acid gently exfoliates the skin, removing only dead cells without disrupting the skin's natural barrier function
• the hair is drawn out whole (together with the root), reducing the chance of breakage, ingrown hairs and thickening

This course is designed for beginners, meaning people with no prior experience of hair removal with any material (wax, paste, etc.).

• Disinfection and sterilisation
• Working technique for each zone
• Practical work on models (ideally each zone done at least 3 times)
• Marketing
• The relationship between master and client
• Help with setting your prices (depending on materials, location, etc.)

Practical work involves treating every zone on a minimum of 2 models!
